SauvBlanc / Derwent / Tasmania
Small batch, hand produced, single block Sauvignon Blanc, from 100% Certified Biodynamic vines planted to an old riverbed of auspicious gravelly loam soils, treated to the extravagance of an extended term over sedimentery solids in dinkum Australian oak. The propitious climes of temperate Tasi meet the fashionable fruit forward refreshers of La Vallée de la Loire. Lubiana breaks the shackles which proscribe the stylistic norm, layered and textural with the complexities of barrel age and gross lees, its delicacy and elegance brings Sauvignon Blanc to higher zen.

PinotNoir / Derwent / Tasmania
Primavera gets better every year, Lubiana experiments with wild or cultured yeasts and employs whole bunch ferments where appropriate to create remarkable wines. He is mindful that Great Pinot Noir is never a blockbuster, Primavera opens with engaging bouquets of red floral fruit, the story that follows tells a tale of juicy berries, fine grained tannins and a touch of undergrowth. Inspiring improvements throughout the vintages have been achieved, without compromising the seamlessness and balance of a forward drinking, limited production Pinot Noir in light Beaujolais styling.

Chardonnay / Derwent / Tasmania
Primavera is a very close sibling to Lubiana's estate flagship Chardonnay, quality of fruit has reached the highest standards of excellence, the vines are smothered with love and the harvests are the finest on the apple isle. Chardonnay was at the very establishment of Lubiana vineyards in 1991, it remains at the very core of the illustrious Lubiana range. A mix of two terriors, grey gravelly loams over clay and red loam over gravel, yield a tally of superlative parcels which are assembled into a magnificent accord of sweet and saline perfumes, beguilingly garrulous fruits and luxuriously crystalline textures.

Merlot / Derwent / Tasmania
Stefano Lubiana believes that every sip of wine should tell you a story, like a movie or good book. It should have a beginning, a middle and an end, one that builds gradually to meet the expectation of a high level satisfaction and enjoyment. Truly great vineyards manage to tell a compelling story each and every year. Located in the Granton region, along River Derwent, Lubiana's closely cossetted block of Merlot is planted to a patch of propitious silty gravel loams. It speaks of healthy soils, fertile with the elements which infuse the wine with redolent plum blueberry flavours, gentle textures and velvet tannins.

Chardonnay SauvBlanc / Derwent / Tasmania
With every successive vintage, Lubiana has endeavoured to extract the most engaging personalities from within his sternly measured harvests. An exciting cépage of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, treated to a bespoke ferment and elevage, the aim being to coalesce the individual characters into a whole that's so much greater than the sum of parts. Thanks to the rhapsody of fruits and a short course of skin contacts, Amphora glows with a handsome golden orange hue, its roast apricot and snow pea nose precedes a rich textural palate, ripe fruit flavours and crisp herbaceous finish.

William Lyne arrived in Van Diemen's Land on October of 1826. His descendants established Spring Vale in 1875 and have pursued farming ventures in this beautiful area of Tasmania's east coast ever since. Rodney and Lyn Lyne planted 6.6 hectares of vine at Spring Vale, principally Pinot Noir in 1986. Further plantings were made in the following years, more Pinot Noir and more Pinot Noir again, with a splash of Pinot Meunier for variety. Today, Spring Vale can lay claim to the most coveted editions of Van Diemen's Land Pinot Noir.

Semillon SauvBlanc / Hunter Valley + Central Ranges / NewSouthWales
Two of Australia's most notable winemakers have cut parcels of Hunter Valley Semillon with an equal portion of Sauvignon Blanc grown to the high altitudes of Central Ranges. The idea behind See Saw was the brainchild of Angus the Bull winemaker Hamish MacGowan, who is building a reputation for his intriguing, successful marketing concepts. His skill at crafting wines is pretty up there too.

Chardonnay / Hunter Valley / NewSouthWales
From the sandy loam soils of upper Hunter Valley, picked just a bit earlier in the vintage for an easier drinking Chardonnay, treated to a course of oak barrel ferments, monthly lees stirring and a year's maturation. It took plenty of vision, love and attention, with a fair bit of bulldozing and persistence to make the Scarborough Gillards Road vineyard into the special patch of dirt it is today. A style that's evocative of new world Chablis, the perfect seesaw of citrus, almond, pear and mineral flint, spiced peach and deliciously creamy mouthfeel.
